- What is Iskra?
- Iskra is an AI search chat with web search, cited sources, file uploads, and modes from quick search to deep research—built with privacy by design.
- What search modes are available?
- Auto lets the agent decide when to search; Search runs web search; Deep allows many research iterations; Chat is LLM-only without tools.
- What files can I attach?
- PDF, DOCX, XLSX, images, and more. XLSX can be read and edited in chat with dedicated tools.
- Which languages are supported?
- The interface is available in English, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. Answers follow your query language.
- How does Iskra handle privacy?
- We minimize data by default: bounded agent context, incognito without long-lived history ties, and explicit tools for memory—not hidden profiling.
- What is privacy by design?
- Privacy is embedded in architecture: narrow context for models, opt-in memory, transparent policy, and separation from third-party site tracking when you open sources.
- Where is Iskra hosted?
- Production runs on Yandex Cloud.
- Does Iskra load third-party trackers?
- The Iskra app is not built like an ad network. Source links open external sites where their trackers and your browser settings apply.
- What happens when I click a source link?
- You leave Iskra for the publisher site. That site’s cookies and analytics are outside Iskra’s control—see our web tracking help.
- What subscription plans exist?
- Free tier with limits, Family plans for households, and Team/Corporate tiers with higher limits and features.
- How does the Family plan work?
- Up to five members share one subscription via invite links, with shared billing under your plan rules.
- What is included in the free tier?
- Core search chat with allowed models and usage limits. Paid plans unlock more models and higher spend limits.
- What is the refund policy?
- Refunds follow our public refund policy and applicable law. Contact support with payment details if eligible.
- Which AI providers does Iskra use?
- OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Groq, Yandex, and others depending on plan and configuration.
