Privacy Policy for Iskra

Effective date: 13.03.2026

This Policy explains how Iskra (hereinafter — «Service», «We») collects, uses and protects User information when using our AI search engine and shared spaces features.

1. What information do we collect?

We collect data necessary for neural network models and search personalisation:

  • Registration data: Email, name, avatar (via Google/Yandex ID or direct registration).
  • User content: Text queries (prompts), uploaded files (PDF, DOCX, images) and chat history.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, cookies, an anonymous analytics identifier (ClientID), and device data for fraud prevention and service usage metrics; some analytics events are sent from Iskra servers (resilient to third-party script blocking).
  • Payment information: We do not store card data. Payments are processed by secure gateways (UnitPay, CloudPayments, etc.).

2. How do we use your data?

  • For generating answers: We pass your queries to AI models (LLM) to generate relevant content.
  • For real-time search: We use your keywords for queries to search engines, academic databases and social networks.
  • For training (Optional): We may use anonymised data to improve our algorithms, unless you use «Pro» or «Corporate» plans with training disabled.
  • For collaboration: In «Family» and «Corporate» spaces, your data is visible only to members of your group.

3. Third-party data sharing

Iskra operates within an ecosystem of other AI solutions. Your data may be shared with:

  • AI model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Yandex, etc.): Only to the extent necessary for generating answers.
  • Cloud providers: For secure storage of your files and query history.
  • Legal authorities: Only in cases provided by law (e.g. court order).

4. File and Spaces privacy

  • Data isolation: Files uploaded to Iskra are not accessible to other Iskra users.
  • Deletion: You may delete your history or entire account at any time. Data is physically erased from servers within 30 days.

5. Security

We use modern protection methods:

  • Data encryption in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest.
  • Regular security audits of infrastructure.
  • Two-factor authentication (2FA) for corporate accounts.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Request export of your data.
  • Withdraw consent for data processing.
  • Limit use of your prompts for model training (via profile settings).

7. Policy changes

We will notify you of material changes via the Iskra interface or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your agreement with the new version.
